User Data Deletion

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This page explains how you can request deletion of information associated with your Instagram account that our application, Comment Automation, operated by Martin Moments, may hold.

Step 1: Remove the app’s access (optional but recommended)

You can stop the application from accessing your account at any time:

  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  2. Open Settings, then go to Website permissions > Apps and websites (the exact wording may vary by app version).
  3. Find Comment Automation under Active and select Remove.

Removing access stops future access through Meta, but does not by itself delete information already held by us. To have that information deleted, please also complete Step 2.

Step 2: Send us a deletion request

Email moments.co.ke@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

  • Your Instagram username;
  • A brief statement that you want your data deleted from Comment Automation.

Please do not send your password. We may contact you to confirm that the request comes from the account holder.

What happens next

Deletion requests are handled manually. Once we have verified your request, we will delete the access token and the Instagram information associated with your account that we hold, including account details, stored media, captions, comment data and scheduled posts, except where we are required by law to keep certain information. We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete.

Content that has already been published to Instagram remains on Instagram and is controlled by you through your Instagram account.
